Women
The purpose of WIC (Women In the Church) is to minister to the women with the Word of God, to encourage them to develop their spiritual gifts, equip them to serve in the church, and create a community of connectedness and compassion that comforts, confronts and challenges one another to glorify God. For more information, contact the WIC Committee at wic@glasgowchurch.com.
W2W Bible Study
Woman to Woman (W2W) exists to minister to women by grounding them in the Word of God for the purpose of :
- spreading the gospel through contact with the surrounding communities and reinforcing God’s truth in the hearts of Christian women.
- encouraging a deeper, intimate relationship with Christ that is reflected in our lives and the relationships in our homes, church and community.
- creating a community of connectedness and compassion that comforts, corrects, confronts and challenges one another in our effort to glorify God with our lives.
Registration for fall 2010 is underway! Visit our W2W Page for more info!
Prayer Ministry
The objective of the Women’s Prayer Ministry is to encourage the disciplines for a deeper prayer life. The Women’s Prayer Circle meets weekly during the spring and fall semesters and periodically conducts Prayer Walks which are advertised in the church newsletter.
Special Events
We regularly feature unique special events for women, such as, Over Fifty and Fabulous and the Christmas T.E.A., that are designed to encourage spiritual growth and fellowship among the women in our church.
Hospitality
Hospitality, a vital and ever-growing part of the WIC ministry, works together with the Special Events Committee, is always looking for ways to serve the church and works to constantly expand the flow of people to help. They support dinners and social gatherings with their service. If you are interested in learning more about the Women In the Church at GRPC, contact us at wic@glasgowchurch.com or 302-834-4772.
