At Glasgow Church, we believe that membership is an important part of your journey of discipleship.  To become a member of Glasgow, there are four steps.

• Profess faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
• Complete the Membership Journey class.
• Be interviewed by one of our elders.
• Publicly take the membership vows on Membership Sunday.

Membership Journey is a several week class designed to answer the following questions:

• Who are we as a church (identity)?
• What do we believe (doctrine)?
• Where are we going as a church (vision)?
• What is your role as a member of the church?

Typical Schedule

• Welcome dinner and history of Glasgow Church
• The Church: Christ as Head, We are the Body
• The Reformed Faith: What do those 5 points mean anyway?
• Worship – Glorifying God
• Discipleship – Growing in grace
• Mission – Going as Jesus says
• Q&A with Pastor Betters

Membership Sunday

As the class nears completion, you will have an opportunity to be interviewed with one of our elders prior to membership.  Once all requirements for membership have been met, we will celebrate on Membership Sunday, where you will take your public membership vows.
