Having children changes our lives!

We welcome you and your child to our nursery!  We love children, and our goal is to give them a positive and loving first impression of Jesus and His church.  We do this by providing loving care and instruction in the safe and supportive environment of our Covenant Church Family. We want parents to enjoy their time of worship and learning, knowing that their child is being well-cared for and loved.

The nursery is staffed on a monthly rotation by parents that are currently using the nursery for their children.  We also utilize the help of teens, young adults, and parents of older children.

The nursery rooms available are: 

The Infants Nursery:  infants until they begin crawling.  When they begin crawling, they may move up to the Crawlers nursery.

The Crawler Nursery:  crawling babies until they begin walking.  When they begin walking and are steady on their feet, they may move up to the Walker nursery.

The Walker Nursery:  children that are walking well and wear hard soled shoes.  Children in this nursery may also receive a snack consisting of animal cookies and water.  When the child turns two years of age, they are promoted to the Toddler nursery.

The Toddler Nursery:  children who are two years of age.  Children remain in this nursery until they are completely potty trained.  Once the child is three years of age and potty trained, they are promoted to the Preschool program.

In addition to loving care and attention, children in the nurseries enjoy many different activities.  We provide quite an assortment of age-appropriate toys, games, and puzzles that give them an opportunity to interact with the caregivers, enjoy creative play, and develop their motor skills.  We have many books to read to them and music CD’s with special songs for their ages.
