Discipleship

Though the word “discipleship” sounds intimidating, its meaning is pretty simple.  It  is the process of growing in your Christian faith as you follow the teachings of Christ.  When someone becomes a Christian, it is the start of their journey, not the end of it.  With each bend in the road of life, we are challenged as to whether we will hold on to Christ or fall from the path.  Sitting around hoping you will grow is a recipe for disaster.  At Glasgow Church, we invite you to join us in the journey of becoming more like Christ and learning more and more each day to trust him.

The vision statement of this church calls each of us to be risk-taking disciples.  Through the relationships you build in a Journey to the training you receive in each of our age-related ministries, we know your mind will be sharpened, your hands equipped and your heart motivated to persevere in your journey to become more like Christ.
