For intermediate/advanced players ages 8-15

This league offers a more competitive format for players who want to develop their skills to a higher level. Building on the basics, players learn and apply more advanced playing skills including positional play, offensive and defensive strategies and set plays. Tryouts are mandatory.
The Glasgow Church recreational inter-league teams have also competed in the Kohl’s Cup, the Kirkwood winter indoor league, The North American Sand Soccer Championships in Virginia Beach, and many other local and regional 3 v 3 tournaments. Two years in a row we have had a team will a national championship title at the North American Sand Soccer Championships.
What are the dates for the season?
Our Recreational Interleague teams compete in both the fall and the spring. The spring season runs approximately from late March through early June and the fall season runs mid-August through mid-November, culminating with participation the Kohl’s Cup.
How much does the league cost?
The standard cost of our league is $70. Registrations received prior to August 7th will receive a $10 early-bird discount. Included in the cost of the league is a team picture, a participation award, the awards ceremony and participation in the Kohl’s Cup.
How do I register?
Registration opens June 1st and closes August 15th. You can register online.
What equipment does my child need?
The only required equipment are shin guards for safety. Soccer cleats are encouraged, but not mandatory. All other equipment is provided by GRPC and included in your league fees.
What is your rainout policy?
Rainout information will be posted on the website as early as possible. Rainouts for our recreational inter-league teams are coordinated with the other clubs. It is the responsibility of the host club to make final determination regarding playability. If your team is scheduled to play at another club, please visit their site to inquire about weather postings.
