1)…still in hospital and not yet eating after a month…hopeful will be able to begin eating this week and start physical therapy end of this week or early next. Spirits improving. 12/13/09-surgery to remove 4 ft. of intestines (blockage was malignant cancer) and 31 lymph nodes…got double pneumonia and blood infection…has diabetes and being monitored closely… complications causing very slow recovery. 2)…recent prolonged sinus infection…did not heal…prompted biopsy…CT scan showed a papilloma in his nose and a cyst near his brain…papilloma must be removed…also needs deviated septum corrected and repairing of other sinus problems. Pray for wisdom as to what needs to be done, and for God’s grace and strength. They know God is in control and are seeking to trust Him in all things. Thank you. |

Most likely will have surgery in about 3 mo. to have part of sigmoid colon removed. 12/27-taken to ER on 12/26 with severe abdominal pain…scan showed he has diverticulitis in sigmoid colon…one of the diverticuli had burst dumping waste into his abdominal cavity…treating him with antibiotics and pain meds. Will remain in Christiana Hosp. until 12/30 or 31…no food or water for days until the rupture heals. |

Pray that the infection will be eradicated. |

A new defibrillator was implanted a little over a month ago…an infection developed in the site and to date has proven resistant to all antibiotics. On Friday, 12/11, the device is to be removed and a new one implanted at a new site. Pray that the infection can be cleared up and the new implantation will go without a hitch. |

| 11/9/09-Tim Dove… in hospital, awaiting results of spinal tap on 11/6/09…pray God will give the doctors wisdom and that his body would heal. 11/04…had a mild stroke a few weeks ago…unable to drive, memory problems. |
| 12/1/09 – Sharon Farina’s niece, Danielle…family looking into having Danielle moved to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital… Danielle continues to seizure more now than ever…move now too risky so that is on hold. The neurologist at the U of P will continue reviewing Danielle’s medical records and consult with her neurologist in VT…red blood cell and electrolyte counts have dropped so she’s been given blood transfusion…keeping her on the sedative, but have given her other seizure meds plus valium to try and control the seizures. My brother asks for continued prayers that these seizures stop and they can’t thank you all enough for your prayers, love and support. We all continue praying for God’s miracle to heal Danielle’s body completely. 11/4/09-MRI shows abscess around the biopsy area in the brain, pneumonia in one lung… antibiotics for both….in hospital over 45 days…in coma. |

Pray for peace and that surgery can be scheduled ASAP.” |

…diagnosed with rectal cancer…needs chemotherapy and radiation prior to surgery which has been delayed for 3 mos…meets with oncologist 11/23 for treatment schedule. 11/11/09-awaiting surgery…prognosis hopeful as CT scan appears to indicate it has not spread and the biopsy showed it is a ‘well-differentiated adenocarcinoma’, the least aggressive type of rectal cancer. Pray for peace and that surgery can be scheduled ASAP.” |
