Sherry Bitler has 28 years of experience in Children’s Ministry – thirteen years as a teacher and fifteen years as a founder and administrator. She joined the GRPC Staff in 1994.  A year later, she opened the Glasgow Christian Academy for Covenant and community children. Sherry initiated a children’s choir and musical production, recreational soccer programs for children, a three-day overnight retreat for children, and a special community outreach…Super Summer Sunday School (S4) program. She also designed programs to help homeschooling parents. She developed and continues to oversee a network of leadership, as well as programs relating to Christian education.

 Sherry has spoken at various women’s retreats and events and is a contributor to the Treasures of Encouragement e-magazine.

Prior to coming to GRPC, Sherry founded and developed the Club Cove program for children at the Sandy Cove Bible Conference Center. She and her husband have three sons and a daughter.   Their daughter, a gift through Korean adoption, is a pediatric oncology nurse.  Their sons work in management and technology positions in various Christian ministries.

Sherry and her husband savor their leisure hours delighting in  time spent with their four married children,  their spouses and their nine – soon to be ten – grandchildren.
