I owe much of who I am to Glasgow Church.  When I first started attending in 1997 I was a young and brash Christian with no clue as to what the Lord would have in store for me.  Being here has literally changed my life.  After being hired in 2001, I’ve been able to pursue my calling to full-time ministry while at the same time being used by God in areas I still enjoy as a hobby – acting and technical work.  I’ve ministered alongside life-long friends and made new ones along the journey.  More importantly, I met my wife here and we’re raising our children in a community of believers that truly cares for them.  And above all, I’ve grown deeper in my faith and relationship with the Lord.  It has been an absolute blessing and the privilege of my life to serve here.

My passion is for teaching and discipleship… to see people’s lives transformed as they follow Christ and seek to build God’s kingdom.  This only happens when we are ready to sacrifice our lives for the sake of his own.  Jesus’ words to his disciples in Matthew 16:24-25 still echo down throughout history to us today:  Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.  For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.”

I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts and Religion at Reformed Theological Seminary to become ordained as a pastor.  This is the overarching goal of my life right now, besides continually learning how to be a good husband and father to my three children.  One of my other life-long goals revolves around my passion for theater and film:  to produce a quality feature Christian film.  There are so few good films that correctly capture the essence of Christianity while maintaining quality production.  Finally, a far-off dream of mine would be to be able to one day buy a small plot of land and build a custom home.  Maybe raise a horse or two… Call it my pioneering spirit!

Besides a passion for teaching and discipleship, I enjoy meeting new people so my new role as Campus Pastor at our satellite church, Centerpoint, in Dover is a perfect fit for me.  It is our goal to grow the church there so we can be an outpost of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in that community!  Come visit us sometime at 4000 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
