About Us

A church-plant of Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Newark, Delaware, the Glasgow Reformed Presbyterian Church, in June, 1986, became a particular church with 35 charter members who met in a local high school.  After significant growth over a short period of time, the congregation built and moved into the current facility on December 10, 1989.  Glasgow Church was established to be a safe place for those longing for peace in their lives, a place to come to find out who Jesus is and what it means to follow him.  As our mission statement says:  The Glasgow Reformed Presbyterian Church exists to glorify God by establishing a safe haven for God’s people to worship and mature as disciples in order to effectively engage our culture and other cultures with the gospel of Christ.

Since those early days, God has blessed our church as we have sought to fulfill the mission he gave us.  If you’d like to know more about what it is like to visit our church, click here.

GRPC is a member of the Heritage Presbytery, a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA),  and has over 800 members with average total Sunday worship attendance of over 1,000.  We have programs and ministries for all age groups and lots of opportunities for “making a large church small.”
