In His Grip

Dear Members and Friends of Glasgow Church:

I am pleased to announce that we have hired Mr. Brian Cannelongo to become our director of sports and recreation. I was privileged to see Brian at work throughout the basketball season and especially during last Monday night’s family closing ceremonies. His commitment to the Gospel is intense and he is unashamed of the Good News. He truly sees sports as a means to bring men, women, boys and girls to a saving knowledge of Jesus.

The evident organizational skills Brian brought to the program and the way in which he is respected by the men, most of whom are un-churched or de-churched, was impressive. We are truly blessed to see Brian unleashed to do the work of the ministry. Brian is employed by WSFS and will be working with us on a part-time basis. Be sure to encourage Brian and his precious wife Johanna as they take their first steps in staff ministry.
