Ephesians 3:14-19

14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Pastor Betters,
I graduated with Heidi, went to school with Chuck, Dan and Mark, attended Mark’s funeral and your church for quite some time when i was younger. I will always remember your service at Mark’s funeral and your struggle with the word “why”. As a believer, how hard it was to ask that word. But as a grieving parent, how you wanted to just scream it to heaven. I have 4 children now, 2 are fifth graders, my heart is so broken over this tragedy and I listened to your service and can’t help but think how Jake is so right, you are the best one to help him and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with your church and this family.

My new position has been very demanding and does not give me to choice to attend worship services on Sunday, but I stay in touch through the internet as much as possible.

I cannot imagine the amount of grief and pain this family is going through. When I read the first emails sent from PB about the incident, I could immediatly feel their whaling. It also took me back to the tragic loss of Mark and who better could help guide and help lift up this family. I pray continuosly…PLEASE God, keep them in your grip!

Only By His Grace,
Judy

Dan
Thank you for this message. I too am in the furnace of grief. We lost our son Scott at 17 in 2002 to a car accident. We have been to your church and have spent precious time with your parents. You so reflect Christ in this message. It was like a little piece of the puzzle of understanding for me. May God bless you and give you strength to walk in the darkness with your friends.
Lots of prayers are coming from our household for you and your friends,
Donna Bishop

Dear Pastor Betters
I listened to the August 9th series and was geniunely impressed to hear the whole counsel preached. The reference to trinitarian versus unitarian was very good. Wholeheartedly agree with your words “We have robbed ourselves of Peace and Power by ignoring the role of the Holy Spirit.” Such great doctrinal teaching.
